How is Xander Zemi different from Xander's other classes?
ザンダー・ゼミはザンダー先生の他の授業とどう違うのですか？
Zemi is mostly different because it is more intense. You will learn a lot more about yourself and how you relate to other people through the activities we do together that must be performed in a small group. You will participate in discussions and role plays that are very difficult to get through. Ultimately, you and your classmates will learn how to gracefully give and receive interpersonal feedback that has the potential to change your life forever.
当ゼミはメンバーひとり一人の全人格的な参加を要し、非常にインテンスであることが大きな特徴です。少人数でしかできないアクティビティや他ではできないようなディスカッション、ロールプレイへの参加を通して、自分自身のことや他の人との関わり方について、多くのことを学ぶことができます。よりよい手段や方法でフィードバックを与えたり、受け取ったりするにはどうすれば良いのか。自分や他者の考えや感情、目標、ビジョンに「出合う」、そんな経験を一緒にしていきましょう。
It is all about Relationships!
ザンダー・ゼミは「関係性」を大切にしています。
"Each relationship is a reflection of all relationships;
and all eternity is held within each moment."
それぞれの関係は、すべての関係の反映です。
そして、すべての永遠はそれぞれの瞬間の中にあります。
We are here to study and learn from relationships.
Many of you have been in my lectures and my classes before, and know that all of them are about relationships.
Relational Frame Theory (RFT) is about the relationship between ideas.
Human Studies I: "Secrets to Successful Thoughts and Emotions" was all about each person's relationship to their own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
You all participated in my lecture were we changed the distance we felt between an apple and a banana or you and your friend through changing the relational frame.
You all participated in the lecture were we practiced having an "I-It" relationship and "I-Thou" relationship with a favorite stuffed animal. Although you have not had the chance to take it yet, Human Studies III: "I and You" will continue this theme focusing primarily on human relationships.
私たちは関係性を学び、そこから学ぶためにここにいます。皆さんの中には、私の講義や授業を受けたことがある方も多いと思いますが、その全てが関係性に関するものです。リレーショナル・フレーム・セオリー（RFT）は、アイデアの関係性についてです。
Human Studies Ⅰ「思考と感情の処世術」では、一人一人の思考、感情、行動との関係についてでした。私の講義に参加した皆さんは、関係性のフレームを変えることで、リンゴとバナナ、自分と友人の間に感じる距離を変えました。皆さんが参加した講義では、お気に入りのぬいぐるみと「I-It」関係、「I-Thou」関係を築く練習をしました。
今後みなさんが受講する「Human Studies III：I and You」では、このテーマを継続して、主に人間関係に焦点を当てていきます。
